Abraham Lincoln University is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission. The Accrediting Commission is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency and is a recognized member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

The Accrediting Commission is a charter member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), the leading non-governmental recognition for accrediting associations. A national advocate and institutional voice for self-regulation of academic quality through accreditation, CHEA is an association of 3,000 degree-granting colleges and universities and recognizes 60 institutional and programmatic accrediting organizations.

Legal Studies Faculty Highlight

Professor Kevin Khoa Nguyen, J.D.

Mr. Nguyen teaches Legal Research, Ethics for Legal Professionals, Alternative Resolution Dispute and Legal Writing at ALU. He earned his B.S. in Gerontology from the University of Southern California and in 2015, went on to earn his J.D. from the Western State College of Law where he is currently a guest lecturer. He also guest-lectures at the International Pacific University and teaches courses at El Camino College.

Mr. Nguyen has over 10 years of teaching experience with the Los Angeles Unified School District, instructing multiple subjects in the High School Diploma/GED and Alternative Education to Work Program, the Older Adult, and English as a Second Language Programs. Professor Nguyen also taught Computer Literacy and Social Networking at California State University Dominguez Hills.

When not helping future professionals pursue ambitious legal studies career opportunities, Mr. Nguyen likes to get creative. He co-founded and is currently the Creative Director of Sky World Entertainment, Inc. Sky World manages artists and produces CD albums and music videos, as well as live concerts and PR events in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia.
