Abraham Lincoln University is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission. The Accrediting Commission is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency and is a recognized member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

The Accrediting Commission is a charter member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), the leading non-governmental recognition for accrediting associations. A national advocate and institutional voice for self-regulation of academic quality through accreditation, CHEA is an association of 3,000 degree-granting colleges and universities and recognizes 60 institutional and programmatic accrediting organizations.

Business Administration Faculty Highlight

Mr. Brent Jacobs

Mr. Jacobs is an experienced business professional having worked in banking and finance for over 15-years. His current role as the Branch Sales Manager for Michigan Credit Union utilizes his skills in leadership and mentoring, operations management, human resource management, training and development, sales and service, and compliance and regulatory change. Mr. Jacobs graduated from Baker College, a small business school in Michigan, in 2014 with a Doctorate of Business Administration degree. Before getting his doctorate he earned a master’s degree in strategic leadership and a Bachelor’s in management and human resources. Currently, Mr. Jacobs teaches a variety of Business courses at all degree levels for Abraham Lincoln University and has been teaching higher education courses since 2013. Most recently he has been serving on dissertation committees for their online doctoral programs.
