Doctorate Degrees

ALU’s doctorate degrees are designed for working professionals

For those who wish to earn a doctorate degree, Abraham Lincoln University offers a Doctor of Business Administration and a Juris Doctor. Each offers the flexibility to learn online, a robust curriculum, and a support system of faculty and peers.

The Doctor of Business Administration provides the knowledge today’s business leaders need. It's designed for those individuals who wish to take their business or consulting careers to the next level through high-quality, practice-focused research. The DBA curriculum contains applied research modules to create independent thinkers and problem solvers. The program features a combination of both theoretical and applied research methodology courses that emphasize assessment of the problems most relevant to today’s business leaders. Graduates of the DBA program learn to use evidence-based decision-making models to lead their organizations into the future.

Start dates for the DBA program are in Spring and Fall Semesters (Session A) each year.

Our Juris Doctor degree program is designed to be one of the best JD programs for working professionals. The educational objective of the School of Law is to educate qualified individuals through advanced educational technology to gain a comprehensive command of the fundamental areas of law. ALU’s JD program is ideal for those who want to practice law or enter into one of the many legal fields that a Juris Doctor degree affords. Students will learn the advanced analytical skills necessary to write legal documents, conduct legal research, and evaluate legal issues.
