Ms. Park graduated from Stanford University in 2005, with a B.A. in English Literature and was a Phi Beta Kappa honoree. She continued her education at Stanford, graduating with a J.D. from their school of law in 2010.
Since entering the workforce, Ms. Park has gained valuable experience in Institutional Research, Curriculum Design, Compliance and Outcomes Assessment. She has held a variety of leadership roles for ALU’s School of Law since she began her career at the University 8 years ago.

I enjoy how online sessions are focused on learning of subject matter, with a variety of perspectives from students who have had life experiences to draw from as they are learning new things. I also enjoy seeing how technology has evolved so that assessment of students can be a streamlined process within an online learning platform.”
Dr. Abel graduated with a Ph.D. in Psychology from Northcentral University and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Brings extensive experience in teaching and academic administration, Dr. Abel has served as a high school teacher, department chair, university adjunct professor teaching both campus and online courses and university dean, most recently as National Dean for Center of Teaching Excellence at DeVry University. In addition, Dr. Abel has served as a visiting committee member for the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accrediting association; one of the six regional accrediting agencies in the United States
As CAO, Dr. Abel’s primary responsibilities are to provide strategic leadership on academic programs under the University and to serve as the link between University students and faculty. Dr. Abel promotes initiatives and articulates school contributions locally, nationally and internationally and serves as a central point of contact on all academically related questions and disciplinary issues for the University student body and administration.

Mr. Sung graduated Cum Laude from the University of California San Diego in 2002. He earned his degree in Computer Science and Economics and has over 17 years of professional experience as an IT programer, accountant and project manager.
Mr. Sung has served as Abraham Lincoln University’s Cheif Financial Officer for 2 years now with previous experience working in Microsoft’s Dynamics Division.
In 2000, Ms. Agaton earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees in American Literature & Culture and Asian American Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2004, she obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles and quickly began working for a law firm where she gained experience practicing family law and was exposed to cases dealing with probate, juvenile law, and civil litigation.
Her career in distance education began when she accepted an academic advisor position at a correspondence law school over a decade ago. She found that she really enjoyed advising law students, helping them with admission requirements for the State Bar of California and navigating their way through the JD curriculum. When she was promoted to associate dean, Ms. Agaton became responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the law school and the management of all graduate degree programs. She also took on a greater role with curriculum development, supervision and on-boarding of faculty, compliance, and accreditation.
“I love playing a small role in helping people attain their dreams of becoming an attorney or earning a graduate degree. Typically, students at online universities work full-time and have other challenges that traditional students at brick-and-mortar universities don’t usually have to deal with. I never fail to shed a tear or feel elation when I hear that one of my students has passed the bar exam or used their legal education in a meaningful way at work or in their personal lives.”
Mr. Cho graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in History in 2008. He went on to earn his J.D. in 2012 from Syracuse University College of Law and passed the General Bar Exam in Maryland in 2014. Mr.
Cho has experience practicing law as an attorney and paralegal in Maryland and most recently took the California Bar exam to practice here in Los Angeles. Currently, Mr. Cho is ALU’s acting academic program coordinator and teaches legal research.
“Once I started taking more lecture courses in school, the benefit of attending my classes in person grew smaller and smaller. I think I would have benefited from being able to attend some of these lectures online and believe that more universities should offer online courses so that students’ can maximize their time.”
Ms. Gomez earned her B.S. in Secretarial Administration from the College of the East in the Philippines. She has over 20 years experience in office management and has worked for ALU for 8 years. Ms. Gomez has enjoyed working in education and believes that ALU’s online environment makes it easier for students to pursue their dreams while working full-time and/or taking care of their families.
Ms. Renteria is currently attending Santa Monica College studying towards a Bachelor degree in Interactive Science Design. She has 11 years of experience working in distance education as an operations support coordinator for DeVry University.

Ms. Lopez earned her Paralegal Diploma from Charter College in 2014 and has 5 years experience in administration and collections. Her experience and legal education have proven invaluable as ALU’s student services coordinator, a position that she has held for just over 4 years. As a mother, Ms. Lopez also knows the importance of school life balance and has enjoyed working for a school that “provides students the possibility to achieve their educational goals while working full time and dealing with life events.”
Mr. Jung earned his B.S. in Psycho-Biology with a Minor in Cognitive Science and a Specialization in Computing from UCLA. He later went on to earn his J.D. from Western State University College of Law and has since gained over eight years of experience working in civil litigation, family law, contracts, class action lawsuits and forensics.
In his free time, Mr. Jung enjoys helping non-profit organizations with legal issues and founded a non-profit legal clinic at the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles helping those individuals that can’t afford an attorney.
Mr. Hanson earned his AAS from Yavapai College in 2013. In 2014 he became a student of Abraham Lincoln University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in General Studies.
Mr. Hanson has experience as an Active Duty Military (USMC) member and in flight training as well as over 4 years of experience in Admissions at ALU. As a student who worked full time and earned his degree later in life, Mr. Hason has thoroughly enjoyed helping applicants from all walks-of-life find the most cost and time efficient way to reach their educational and professional goals.
Mr. Yap earned his B.S. in Information Technology from the University of California Irvine. He has over 20 years of experience in software development in JAVA and PHP. He has served as ALU’s Director of Technology for a year and a half and has enjoyed working with and researching optimal online technologies for ALU’s students.
Mr. Chen graduated from DeVry University in 2017 with a Bachelor Degree in Technical Management. His primary professional experience is in technology development, and he has enjoyed working with students to help troubleshoot their technical issues and get them back on track. Though he has only worked with ALU for a year, Mr. Chen has enjoyed learning new technical skills unique to online education.
