Tuition Refund Policy
BUYER’S RIGHT TO CANCEL
The student has a right to cancel his or her enrollment agreement and obtain a refund. Cancellation is effective on the date that written notice of cancellation is received.
REFUND INFORMATION
The student has a right to a full refund of all monies paid, less the amount of $100.00 for the registration fee and $50 for the Westlaw fee, less any returned check charges if student withdrew or cancel before the instruction or class begin.
In addition, the student may withdraw from a course after instruction has started and receive a pro rata refund for the unused portion of the tuition and other refundable charges if the student has completed less than 60% of the instruction. The period of given instruction is counted on a weekly basis, regardless of the actual day that a particular course begins. Each week starts every Sunday 12am and ends Saturday 11:59PM(Pacific Time Zone). For example, if student completes only 13 weeks of a 52-week course and paid $7,500.00 tuition, the student would receive a tuition refund of $5625.00.
The $7,500.00 represents the amount paid for tuition. The number of instruction weeks paid for but not received (39) is divided by the number of instruction weeks that the student has paid (52) to determine a multiplication factor (3/4). The multiplication factor is applied to the amount paid for tuition to determine the refund amount ($7,500.00 X 3/4 = $5,625.00)
