  Reinstatement Policy  
 

Attention Student:

If you have been out of attendance for more than one calendar year for any of the following reasons:

  • Financial Dismissal
  • Baby Bar Leave of Absence
  • Extended Leave of Absence, and/or
  • Official Withdraw

and wish to return to ALU to continue your law study, you will need to complete the following:

  1. New Application
  2. Pay $50.00 Application Fee
  3. Outstanding Balance must be paid in full (If Applicable)
  4. Required Essay (300-500 words):
    1. Why do you wish to return and continue at ALU?
    2. What are the reasons you feel you will succeed this time?

All required documents will be Reviewed, Approved or Denied by the Acceptance

If Acceptance and Reinstatement have been granted, you will be placed on Academic Probation for a minimum of 1 course (or to be determined by the Academic Dean).

If you were Financially Dismissed, you will be placed on Financial Probation upon your Acceptance and Reinstatement for a minimum of 6 months.
