Registration with the California Committee of Bar Examiners
Abraham Lincoln University offers Bar program for the convenience of our students.
Bar Program
After graduation, the students in the Bar program are eligible to sit for the California Bar Examination, and upon successful completion, can become members of the State Bar of California and be eligible to practice in California and Federal courts. Abraham Lincoln University School of Law is registered with the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California.
Every law student that intends to be a general applicant for admission to practice law in California shall register with the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California not later than 90 days after he/she begins the study of law. Registration shall consist of the filing of a form that may inquire into the applicant’s age, addresses, general education and legal education. The registration form must be completed under penalty of perjury.

The education provided by the University may not satisfy the requirements of other states for admission to the practice of law. Applicants should inquire regarding those requirements, if any, of the state in which they may wish to practice.
