If you are in the Guard on active drilling status, you are eligible to take advantage of your National Guard education benefits to help pay for tuition. You deserve your educational benefits and Abraham Lincoln University is here to assist you.
Since 1996 ALU has provided online degree programs for working adults around the world. ALU has extended online learning to the military and encourages you to take time to talk to one of our military Admissions Representatives regarding how ALU can assist you with your career or personal educational goals.
National Guard Tuition Assistance
We make education affordable through the use of available TA funding you earn while on active duty. Contact ALU today at (866) 558-0999 to learn about additional scholarship opportunities that can be applied toward your tuition amount. You are given up to $4500 per fiscal year to use towards your education, not to exceed $250 per credit semester hour or $166 per quarter credit.
The Army National Guard uses AARTS (American Council on Education Registry Transcript Service) to keep track of any credits earned while you were on active duty. To receive a current official AARTS transcript, visit https://aartstranscript.army.mil/ and follow the instructions provided on the screen. Once your official transcripts are received, we can determine which previously earned college credits or military training may transfer into your new degree program at ALU.
