Army Spouse Benefits

Army MyCAA Education Benefits

As a military-friendly school, Abraham Lincoln University accepts many Army spouse benefits for educational costs. Here are a couple of the Army spousal benefits available to dependents of active duty soldiers:

  • Army Emergency Relief (AER) – Army Emergency Relief provides for the Stateside Spouse Education Assistance Program (SEAP), which is a need-based program. SEAP provides spouses of active duty Army soldiers, as well as widowers of Army soldiers who died on active duty, financial assistance to pursue educational goals while living in the United States. The funds available from SEAP can reach up to $2,500 a year.
  • Spouse Education Assistance Program (EAP) – The EAP offers spouses of soldiers stationed in Europe, Korea, Japan and Okinawa grants for educational assistance, up to $350 per term.

In some cases, GI Bill benefits may be transferrable to spouses or other dependents. Be sure to research using GoArmyEd to make sure you are taking advantage of all of the benefits available for Army spouses and family members.
