PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Attorney at Law 1998 to 2004
    TISDALE & NICHOLSON, LLP Los Angeles, CA

    Complex commercial business litigation with emphasis in entertainment related matters. California and New York State and Appellate Court practice including: depositions, law and motion practice including summary judgment motions, trial briefs, settlement agreements and third-party practice. Briefed and successfully argued William Findlay et al. V. Michael Findlay et al. (2000) 717 N.Y.S.2d 535.
    Transactional expertise primarily in entertainment related matters includes: knowledge of music, film and internet rules, regulations and customs; drafted and negotiated feature film licensing agreements, management and agency agreements, partnership agreements, record production agreements, video production agreements, copyright registration, theater production agreements, sale and purchase agreements, construction agreements; advised clients on internet related matters including attorney advertising, ISP ventures, site promotion and copyright issues.
