AMY N. CARTER

Professor of Law
Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles


Amy N. Carter will be teaching Real Property. As a Deputy District Attorney, she is well skilled in breaking down complex legal concepts into understandable components and explaining the applications and results of the particular facts at hand to the relevant legal issues in question. As an Appellate Advocacy Instructor, Ms. Carter also has experience in writing and lecturing about appellate briefs and oral arguments. She has a B.A. from The University of Iowa, and a J.D. (with distinction) from The University of Iowa College of Law. She is currently serving as a Deputy District Attorney in the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
