Theida Salazar is a Los Angeles based attorney and Abraham Lincoln University Alumnus who has been running his own practice since 2014. Most recently, Salazar and his co-counsel Keith Altman have taken on a lawsuit spurred by three different families who lost loved ones in the San Bernardino terrorist attacks in December of 2015.
Kanako Blondet graduated from Abraham Lincoln University School of Law in 2007. As a Social Worker, Blondet experienced first hand how life altering a lawyer's presence in court could be for families, especially children and defendants in need of an interpreter. These moments in court are what prompted her to take her knowledge of the law to the next level and eventually, to join the California Innocence Project.
“No good comes from killing healthy animals, period,” said Lisa Edmondson, a long-time volunteer at Los Angeles Animal Services.  In her years as an animal rights activist, Lisa has seen great progress in Los Angeles, a city she believes is leading the way across the country to make “kill-shelters” a thing of the past.
We know we have incredible, talented students. But it's nice when the rest of the world acknowledges this as well. We are proud to announce current ALU law student, Azadeh Manoussi,  has been accepted into USC's Masters of Law program. We asked her a few questions about her journey below.
I was honored to interview Dr. Jonathan Kramer, Esq., JD, LL.M, DLP, one of our awe-inspiring ALU alumni (2001), about his time as a law student and all of his adventures since graduating. Jonathan Kramer serves on Abraham Lincoln University's Advisory Committee and on the Academic Program Advisory Board for the Juris Doctor. He offers input about curricular needs and improvement for the law program.
Paul Young graduated from Abraham Lincoln University School of Law in 2007. He’s now a busy, successful attorney and private investigator with his own law firm focused on judgment enforcement. I was thrilled to talk to him about his career and his time at ALU and to bring you his bits of wisdom.
I had the privilege of interviewing ALU School of Law graduate, attorney and inspiration, RoseAnn Frazee, class of 2008. Ms. Frazee passed the bar on her first try at the age of 65, but she had been studying and “practicing” law since she was 12 years old in Alaska.
