
ALU is fully approved by the State of California, and registered with the Committee of Bar Examiners. Our gradutes are eligible to sit for the California Bar Examination.

Abraham Lincoln University was initially granted institutional approval to
operate as a degree-granting institution on June 28, 1996 for a period of five
years. On June 28, 2001, Abraham Lincoln University was granted
institutional approval to operate as a degree-granting institution for a period
of five additional years. Also, on June 28, 2006, Abraham Lincoln University was
granted institutional approval to operate as a degree-granting institution for
a period of another five additional years(valid until June 28, 2011).
- Four (4) years to achieve the Juris Doctor Degree
- Prerequisite: Two years of college or the equivalent (60 semester units or 90 quarter units) or meeting CLEP requirements.
Thus, you can start ALU´s law program after you complete your second year of college.
